I've always drawn ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. (Slightly alarmingly, when I was very young, I wanted to draw everything 'broke' - possibly because I had back then the fascination I still have for seeing inside thigs to see how they work. I used to be mostly pictures just for my own amusement but every so often, occasionally I did the odd commission for someone. A friend put me in touch with the publishers Wiley-Blackthorn when they were looking for an illustrator, and I've produced illustrations for a few of their books now.
