Dave was born in West Seneca, New York and at an early age was greatly influenced by his two grandfathers; one a carpenter, the other a machinist. Dave began working construction jobs during the summer months in high school, and further honed his skills by majoring in the Furniture program at Buffalo State University. After completing his degree, he worked various full-time positions in the field.
