Georgetown artist David Manuel grew up in Somerset, England. The many historical stone buildings of his surrounding area nurtured an early love of urban landscapes as well as being influenced in style by the colourful and distorted styles of Fauvism and German Expressionism. Trained as an animator and working in the computer games industry, David has lived in Australia, Germany and now Canada.
