David M. McCauley retired from his job as a civil/environmental engineer with the USDA, Forest Service, in March, 2001. He graduated from San Jose State University in 1967, with a BS in Civil Engineering. David spent 3 summers working for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation as a Student Trainee Civil Engineer, 4 years with the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power designing dams, channels and pipelines, followed by 30 years with Forest Service.
