Music Painting On Display At Montpelier Mansion
Greenbelt, MD - December 2nd, 2014
David Ralph, a member of the Fine Art America community, will be displaying a music-themed painting titled "Delta Blues" from December 7-31 at the Montpelier Arts Center in Laurel, MD. The watercolor painting, displayed here, takes you to a bar on Beale street in Memphis, TN. A Mississippi-delta blues band plays before a small, dedicated crowd of blues enthusiasts in a "juke joint" bar. The juried exhibition, called the “Annual Patuxent Art League Juried Exhibition”, showcases selected works by artists in MD, VA and the Washington, DC area. The opening reception is this Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm, December 7, 2014. The exhibition takes place at the Montpelier Arts Center, 9652 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, MD 20708, phone: 301-377-7800.
Watercolor Painter David Ralph To Display Sensual Figure Abstract At All Hung Open Exhibition
Greenbelt, MD - October 29th, 2014
David Ralph, a member of the Fine Art America community, will be displaying one of his more sensual and provocative figure abstracts during the month of November at the Montpelier Arts Center & Mansion in Laurel, MD. The exhibition, called the “All Hung Open Exhibition”, is the complete opposite to a curated or juried show. All artists in MD, VA and the Washington, DC area (over 18) are welcome to exhibit and every piece of art is accepted. This gives the artist a unique opportunity to showcase a risky, unorthodox or new piece of art. The opening reception is from 2-4pm on Sunday afternoon, November 2, 2014 and is FREE. The exhibit will run from November 2 thru November 30. The All Hung Open Exhibition is at Montpelier Arts Center, 9652 Muirkirk Road, Laurel, MD 20708, phone: 301-377-7800.
