I have been painting for about 30 years. I retired from a career in commercial art in 2003. Since then I have been a full time fine artist, creating art in acrylic, watercolor and oil and also teaching classes and workshops. I work in a broad range of styles. My small oils, especially those painted plein air, tend to be literal (e.g; my California collection), while my large acrylics tend to be loose and more abstract (e.g; my jazz series.)
