I was born in Buffalo, New York, and, in 1961, my parents moved to Northern California when I was three years old. I grew up in the Napa Valley and saw it go from a tiny little town to a major tourist destination. My Mother always referred to the Napa Valley as God's country. I always thought that the Napa Valley was a pretty nice spot, but then I got a job working the harvest at Robert Mondavi Winery in 2005.
