ABOUT THE ARTIST
Debbie Waitkus was born in Cleveland, Ohio. From her early years, she appreciated the beauty surrounding her and consequently was drawn to all things artistic. While in High School, she received several awards for her paintings, which were on display in the National Scholastic Arts Exhibit and the Hallmark Hall of Fame Awards. After moving to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area, Debbie continued her Art education at Broward Community College. She turned her talents to watercolor art and ceramics, using the tropical motif.
