Deb Breton is an American abstract expressionist artist whose paintings are influenced by nature, spirituality and the human experience. Her portrait paintings reflect on popular culture and social issues such as human rights, black lives matter and the rights of the LGBTQ community, of which she is a part. Breton often portrays triangles (pyramids), DNA strands, and numbers in her neo-expressionist work, a nod to street and urban art influences. She also credits having lived in Germany and Austria in her formative years, for the way it has shaped the way she sees life. Her works are held in private and corporate collections worldwide. She creates using acrylics, oils, and collage on canvas.
Based in Northern California, USA, in the heart of wine country. She's an animal loving, organic fruit and vegetable gardener, birder, kombucha brewer, and spiritual warrior.
