I have a background in portrait and landscape art, but it's only since moving to the Ribble Valley 6 years ago that I started taking photographs of this area and the ancient Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty. I try to capture the 360 degree light, the unusual atmospheric conditions and the natural beauty of the area, and I aim to pass on the scene directly to the observer.
