AS Galbraith is a contemplative artist working primarily in hand embroidery, but also has worked with watercolor, acrylic inks and acrylics.
He is also a Zen Buddhist monk, (dharma name: Ven. Myohye Do'an) and besides creating art, he is the guiding teacher for Lotus Heart Zen.
The purchase here help support his ability to create art and teach. His work explores myth and the natural world. The process of making art, regardless of the medium, is a spiritual practice, and contemplative discipline.
