Artist statement:
I believe there is an inevitable connection between artistic creation and the human condition or state of mind if you wish. Creating makes me happy and miserable at the same time while I try to reach a climax that is sometimes unattainable. However that is understood, the reality of having created art is very real and tangible. Like many artists before me, I subscribe to a multidisciplinary approach to art-making. In a world with so many possibilities, our mediums have expanded exponentially and I personally find this fascinating and to be able to explore all these materials and techniques and incorporate them into my practice makes the journey priceless.
