Mr. Tajchman makes painting and sculptures. He seeks to create gateways with his art that connect different times and spaces, that bridge the gap between cultures, that are a gateway of expression between the self and the society in which that self exists. There is not a time in his life that Edward can remember, that he was not drawing incessantly. With 10 years experience as a custom art framer and conservator, he has a fine eye for composition and craftsmanship. Currently he is studying liberal and fine arts at JCCC and Kansas University. This experience has been able to help Edward expand his great interest in storytelling, mythology, philosophy, psychology, literature and sculpture, which has helped to evolve his approach to making art. He has traveled to Holland and worked with artists from around the world in his time there. When he was in Senegal he got the chance to visit the studios of many artists in Dakar and around the country. Some of his favorite experiences also include traveling the Midwest and Southern United States showing his work at various music and art festivals while painting live. He has exhibited in solo shows in the Kansas City metro area and participated in group shows in Houston and in Holland.
Ed Tajchman joined Fine Art America on July 23rd, 2015.
