It started with a mistake.   Like all families growing up in the 1980's, birthdays, vacations and milestones were recorded on 2 for 1 Kodak film, the type where the price included development: you'd send off the films and get back your prints and a free film.   One day, my father came home with black and white film by accident, and photos were taken at a family party of many people, including my grandfather.   According to my father, I marveled at how these prints looked, I remember that they seemed to capture something of the soul of the person, more so than a color print.   These...more
