I claimed the title 'artist' when I was six. I've been to school a lot, mostly to learn about art but sometimes to learn about life. I have a BFA from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC (1986), and an MFA from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge (1991). I received another Masters' degree from University of Richmond in 2018, in Nonprofit Studies.
