I started to become passionate about photography back in 2007 when I was living in Azerbaijan as a Peace Corps volunteer. Having the ability to share the beautiful place I was living in with my friends and family back home inspired me to learn and grow in my photography. I wanted not only to show the beauty of the place I was living, but also my vision of the aspects, big or small, that made it unique and special to me. I wanted my friends and family to share in how I was seeing the world especially when we were so far away from each other.
I continue to want to share the big and small aspects of how I see the world with others. With continuing to grow, I have started focusing on digital art along with my photography. Finding inspiration in vintage magazines and books. I love literature, classic Hollywood, the Roaring 20s, French fashion from the early 1900s, and anything with a vintage feel. The beauty with art is the way it transforms us, whether we are creating or viewing it.
