Friewald Gyula Ferenc
1973-76, he worked in the studios of the most important masters and sculptors in Hungary. Trained in traditional techniques like forging, welding, soldering, repousse work, casting, etc.
1976-82, he studied and graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts Hungary in metal craft, including design and XX. century architecture.
Since 1982 received numerous private and state commissions for government, public institutions, companies, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and famous people for their private collections like Prince Charles, Mario Vargas Llosa, Dubai's ruling family Al Maktoum, Kate Moss, etc. Many works were distributed to Belgium, Dubai, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Scotland, Switzerland, Venezuela, and Spain.
Experience in the utilization of different techniques, ancient methods, and modern technologies: repousse, hot-forging, and computer-assisted laser methods.
Steel, iron, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium, and later different types of wood: elm, oak, walnut, almond, etc.
Works with sensitivity and creativity respecting the wishes of the clients who commission works. Realizes ideas of clients on photographs or drawings, for portraits, busts, ornaments, etc., three dimensional, by enlarging or reducing the size of the original.
