Originally from Queensland and now living in Sydney, Australia. Gaye White first began her career as an artist when she retired from teaching in 2009. Her still-life works often incorporate a collage of pages of old books and magazines over a board or canvas base. Gaye uses this collage base and combines it with heavy overpainting in oils. Gaye has studied under Sophie Gralton, Barry John Raybould, Richard Robinson amongst others.
