If you are wondering what media would be best for a purchased photo, I highly recommend Fine Art America's Metal Prints. They are very sharp and brilliant, displaying all of the detail and color I try to capture in my photos. Hanging one of these Metal Prints on your wall is like hanging a window to the scene or object depicted. If you would like a more subdued effect, then a Gallery Wrap would be appropriate. You can also opt for a traditional framed print using either glossy or matte paper and a mat and frame of your choice. No matter which format you chose, you will get an exceptional work of art for your wall!
I have been taking Nature and Scenic Photographs since 1967. My method for finding interesting Nature shots is to seek them out rather than waiting for them to come to me. Both methods have merit and each will produce great photographs, but prowling around works better for this photographer. I also prefer to picture animals doing something besides just sitting somewhere. Simple portraits are nice, but depicting an animal doing something characteristic of the species tells the viewer more than just what it looks like. Of course, Scenic photos, of necessity, require that the photographer go to them. Here, the most important factors in obtaining a good shot are time of day, sky conditions and time of year.
