Ghostwinds Photography specializes in the research and photo-documentation of places of historical interest. Crystal & Sherry are Fine Arts Photographers, renowned for their distinctive collection of images. In their photography art, they convey a sense of nature, nostalgia and mysticism in a very reverent and natural way.
'Travel, to us, is about our journeys, not our destinations. We cherish our experiences and try to capture a sense of place, as well as the unspoken spirituality that is resident within each destination. Our objective is to convey those feelings through the lens in a vivid sense, while preserving the integrity of the sites and beliefs of those who journeyed before us'.
Crystal Yingling was on the staff of Eastman Kodak Company for 25 years. She traveled across the USA as a Professional Photographer and Lead Trainer for Digital Imaging. Her forte is shooting Abandoned, Urban Exploration & Native American Ruins.
Sherry Day is also a Professional Photographer, specializing primarily in Nature and Historical Photography. Her extensive knowledge of Western History proves to be an invaluable asset for Gold Mining Ruins and Ghost Town Photography.
