Throughout his early school years Glen could draw well, but did not seriously consider painting until later in life. Like most artists, he draws on anything he can find, and even as he listens to speakers he draws on Styrofoam cups, napkins, or paper tablecloths. “Sketching is an important part of recording the shading, expression, and mood of the moment. Lately I have been relying upon photos for more detail.”
