Glimpses From The Beach

Series of 12 small paintings each inspired by real life moments at the beach. Each painting celebrates the beach and its adventure. "I always crave the beach. I love soaking up all the sun, sounds and sights. It’s instant joy and freedom all wrapped up into one. Of course, you must always stay for the sunset. I love a good sunset." Hew creates paintings by the unique signature method of combining fingerpainting, layering and traditional painting techniques. The final step of the process is adding words in partnership with the painting to achieve an emotional connection and instill a conversation of thoughts for the audience.
