From Kindergarten on all my report cards said I liked to draw and read. Still do. I live off the grid with solar, propane and silence. The works I have posted are a retrospective of over 25 years. For 9 years during the 1980's, I managed a studio for working artists in Las Cruces, New Mexico and taught art at the local State prison for 3 years, which was a fabulous learning experience. Illness brought me to Columbus, New Mexico’s high plains desert over 20 years ago. Now, I walk in the desert, pick up unusual rocks and paint their portraits, and also paint the surrounding mountains. I consider my work analytical realism. My illusion is to sell cards and prints to supplement my social security, and continue my life work. e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
