Two weeks before Christmas Santa found his reindeer missing. In each stall he found a pig and each pig had a funny name. Santa knew he had to somehow use the pigs tofly his sleigh. Santa was determined to use what he had been given and started training the pigs to fly. Christmas was as exciting as ever. Each boy and girl received their gift on time. Only a few adults and a hand full of children happened to see Santa that Christmas Eve night. They were surprised to see eight pigs flying Santa’s sleigh across the winter sky. And to their wonder and surprise they heard Santa call out, “Now Pork Chop, now Fat Back, now Bacon and Pinky. Ho ho ho, on Patty Cake, on Piggy, on Ham Bone and you too Stinky, ho ho ho.” Santa then turned and wished all a very Merry Christmas. “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!”
Our gallery is based on this children's Christmas book. We have 11 illustrations from the book and 8 illustrations based on the eight little pigs that saved Christmas for the children of the world
