I am a computer programmer and a painter. I began my artistic career by watching Bob Ross do his thing on PBS and decided I can do this too. It helps that there is artistic blood in the family. I've had no formal training. My specialties are lighthouses, covered bridges, fishing village and seascapes & barns. I paint from photographs I've taken. Being a computer programmer makes me detail oriented and that is reflected in my paintings. People see pictures of the paintings an think its a photograph. more about Jack McKenzie
