Jacqueline Pearson is a native of New Orleans, LA. For the last 25 years she has resided in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO where much of her inspiration for some of her more traditional work is acquired. Acrylic and textural mediums are the go-to elements in her work.
She considers the use of texture, a tool to reach the viewer's own level of intellect as it invites one more deeply into the image. She enjoys creating abstract paintings that are uplifting, colorful and dynamic. She invites the viewer to experience the presence of the painting to come away with her/his own interpretation. Color alone, speaks for itself.
