Nashville, TN July 9, 2018 – The Gordon Jewish Community Center’s August art show exhibits will feature the work of Jammie Williams, Martin O’Connor, Carrie Mills and Fashion Camp art. The Janet Levine March Gallery will feature the work of Jammie Williams. Jammie is a professionally trained oil painter, sculptor and art instructor who lives and works in middle Tn. He attended both Watkins College of Art and Design as well as Tennessee State University as a painting major. Figure Sculpting Classes At Watkins College

Watkins College of Art, Design And Film is now offering figure sculpting classes this Spring through their Community Education Program. This nine week course offers students the opportunity to create figures in clay from a live figure model. Through measurements and direct observation, students of all levels will learn basic forms, proportions and anatomy of the human figure. The techniques of modeling with clay as well as preparing each piece for firing will also be taught. Clay, glazes, and tools are included with materials fee. All levels. Beginers especially welcome. Cost $250 Plus $65 materials fee Classes meet every Monday 6pm-9pm starting Feb 4th.
Gallery Grand Opening Featuring Artist Jammie Williams

Smyrna, TN. January 16th 2012 Nashville painter and sculptor Jammie Williams will be a featured artist for the grand opening of Earthsoul gallery. Jammie learned traditional sculpting techniques while serving for over eight years as chief assistant to nationally known sculptor Alan LeQuire and has sculpted many portraits for the Country Music Hall of Fame including; Roy Clark, Barbara Mandrell, Charlie McCoy and Reba McEntire among several others. He is also a member of the National Sculpture Society and the Portrait Society of America. Opening reception is January 27th 6pm-9pm. Please come for wine, food, music and great art.
