WWW.JANHILLOV.COM Jan Hillov is a Dutch contemporary artist who finds much of his inspiration in science and technology.   Imaginative and inventive, he uses digital tools to create distinctive pieces of fine art.   His passion for geometric structures is clearly visible in his portfolio, which includes many typical examples of concrete art, whereby randomly generated numbers define most of the design parameters.

JAN HILLOV Coming To Amazonia

JAN HILLOV, a member of Fine Art America since September 2008, added new attractive digital art to his portfolio. Inspired by the South American jungle, his new series of ‘Random Digital Art – Amazonia’ is determined by randomly generated numbers to define the shape (square or rectangular) and the block pattern, which is generated by an online QR code generator. By using a random number generator, any influence from the artist on the shape and pattern is eliminated. In JAN HILLOV´s second series of Random Digital Art, two colors are used to fill in the blanks of the generated QR block pattern. JAN HILLOV SUPPORTS PUSH AMERICA IN THE JOURNEY OF HOPE

Jan Hillov, a member of Fine Art America since 2008, is a proud supporter of Push America, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for people with disabilities. Jan’s efforts will help Hunter Sprague, a sophomore of the Texas Christian University and one of many volunteers for Push America which grants funds to local organizations that better the lives of people with disabilities. Hunter is riding his bike across the United States of America in the ‘Journey of Hope’ to raise funds and awareness for these individuals. The Journey of Hope is a 67 day, 4,100 mile bicycle trek starting in San Francisco, CA and ending in Washington D.C. starting June 8th. Each day, participants ride over 80 miles from city to city showing their support and dedication to people with disabilities.
