I am a self taught artist born in New York and raised in South Florida. My deeply held connection to the natural world began when I illustrated sections of The Dade County Environmental Story, including the cover, published by Friends of the Everglades in 1984 and continues to this day. In the beginning, I focused my attention on pencil, charcoals, pen-ink, pastels, watercolors and (my personal favorite) acrylics.
