Jean has lived in Oklahoma most of her life. She has been self taught, working mainly in acrylics. She began taking oil painting classes with Carol Armstrong several years ago. The texture and color of oils was a wonderful discovery. Her style is realism with a touch of impressionism. She has a wide variety of subjects but always seems to return to landscapes.
