Born in 1950 of Scottish parents, I paint mainly in oils using palette knives and my focus is the landscape of Provence, where I live. Favourite themes are lavender, olive groves, vineyards, cypresses and French villages. Artistic influences include Van Gogh and Cézanne and my paintings have been described as being a modern take on French Impressionism.more
