Currently employed as a scientist working in and around Salton Sea for 30+ years (for more info you can find a couple articles in Palm Springs Life Magazine by googling 'jeff geraci palm springs life'), and so I started creating mosaics using the natural items I collect from the sea. I mainly use the bones of dead fish and the barnacle shells that line the shore. I've discovered a proprietary method of sanitizing, processing and pigmenting the shells, then arranging them into the images you see.
