Jupiter, Fl - October 7th, 2013
Jupiter - October 4, 2013 Today, Jeff Lucas Art announced the sale of "David & Goliath", a watercolor painting based on the artist's encounter with the two fish. Local Artist, Jeff Lucas stated that while SCUBA diving recently, he witnessed a small Sergeant Major fish intimidate a much larger Goliath Grouper from its home. Lucas said the five inch Sergeant Major defended his home very aggressively from Lucas as well as the five foot Grouper. "It was extremely amusing and a scene that I felt I should paint," says the artist. The original painting sold after the undisclosed investor from Portland, Oregon, previewed the image on fineartamerica.com. Jeff Lucas is a Jupiter, Florida based artist focused on painting with water-media. While the majority of Jeff's work is commission based, he likes to find time to recreate images based on his view of nature and wildlife. Jeff can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
