ARTIST STATEMENT
I am interested in creating images and figures that portray vulnerability, compassion, and human fragility. My work is an effort to challenge the viewer to feel deep passion or pain. Many of my works are nudes: I am drawn to its risk and its ability to command attention. While it elicits discomfort, the rawness of the image also creates a sense of impertinence.
