I became interested in photography in 2012. I started off with a small point and shoot camera and basically just took pictures around my neighborhood. For some reason I was really drawn to butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds. I upgraded to a bridge camera fairly quickly and started going on daily 'picture walks'. I started posting the 'Picture of the Day' on my Facebook page and it just took off from there.
