Eye-catching aspect is how she ingeniously combines realistic and abstract images. As you can see, her compositions contain the two massive creative methods of contemporary art: Reality and Abstract.
In more schematized terms, she does not consider 'object-specific facts' and 'conceptual abstract' as contrasting concepts, but integrates them in reciprocal ways. The precedence of such integration would be the neo-expressionist or new-image painting artists who dominated the art sector in Korea and in the world in the 80s but this means that the boundary between image and abstract has collapsed to open up a new horizon of painting.
