I grew up in Louisiana where most of my family has lived since the 1700's. I received a Fine Arts Degree at Louisiana State University, worked with Dr. George Lowery author of 'Louisiana Birds'; as well as illustrating textbooks for other professors at LSU . I have always painted and art runs in my family, one of my ancestors Pierre Joseph Landry is a well known early Louisiana artist and has his works in the Louisiana State Museum as well as the New Orleans Art Museum.
