Some of my earliest memories are drawing and painting with my mother as she patiently kept me, my brother and three other sisters, entertained in artistic activities. Growing up in the Crescent Hill area of Louisville, Kentucky, my favorite part of school was art class. As an adult, I spent many years in South Carolina with my daughter, Laurel, who is an artist also.
