Joan grew up in a big house in Pueblo, Colorado. She moved to Northern Colorado to follow a teaching career, and now enjoys life living along the Cache la Poudre River. Joan has been an artist in some capacity nearly all of her life. She was enrolled in numerous art classes and programs throughout elementary, high school and college.
