Joanne Martignoni was born in New York City and received her BS degree from Fordham University. In 1990 Joanne moved to the Hudson Valley, Woodstock/West Hurley area. While working in sales, she began exploring creative writing, weaving and ceramics. A student of drawing, watercolor and art composition at the Woodstock School of Art, she has also studied Chinese Brush painting privately.
