Hello, I'm Joe Beitey! As a young boy I wanted to be a cowboy in the worse way. I taught myself to draw in the 2nd grade, trying hard to do western art. I continued drawing through high school and made a couple oil paintings. Then, being a good son, I pursued a 'real job' instead of art, as was expected of me.
