I am a self taught artist.   Born and raised on a farm in central New York.   Nature and wildlife has always been my passion in life.   When I started painting in my mid 20's, I was living in the city and missed the country and wanted to capture the nature, wildlife and country scenes that I missed so much.I found that I could escape the city by creating on canvas the scenes of the country side, nature and wildlife by imagining myself being in that particular place as the brush flows across the canvas.   Through the years I have tried different techniques in my paintings and...more
