John was born and raised in Carmichael (a suburb of Sacramento), California where he was introduced to photography in high school. After graduating in 1989 he relocated to the mountains of Northern Utah where he started his career as a portrait and wedding photographer. After more than twenty years of weddings John retired from the portrait business enabling him to devote all of his time to more artistic aspects of photography. John loves anything that makes him different including Infrared but is mostly known for his UV body paintings and black light photography. more
