For the last 26 yrs, Jon has been the owner and operator of Image One Media in Fort Worth, who specializes in photography, video production, and audio-visual presentations.   He has been taking pictures since he fell in love with photography when he received a Kodak Instamatic model 134 at age 9.   In 2002, Jon began the Hope Camera Club in Ft.   Worth, Texas, and led it for 8 years, and as such he has done numerous instructional presentations and training sessions related to photography, and conducted many competitions.   He has experience with many types and styles of...more

Fort Worth, TX - November 3rd, 2012

Ft. Worth Texas based photographer Jon Holiday received Special Recognition in the current exhibition at Light Space and Time Gallery for his often sold image at FAA "Wagon in Paintbrush" . The exhibit was themed "Countryside Art." They received 455 entries from 140 different artists in 12 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. In addition, LST had entries from 34 different states. They received a broad selection of media including, watercolors, oils, acrylics, collage, digital art, fabric, photography, mixed media, ink, charcoal and pencils. In addition, Holiday received 2nd Place Overall, which includes all forms of art. The exhibit was themed "Countryside Art." Lighthouse Photo By Jon Holiday Wins Yet Again

Fort Worth, TX - August 7th, 2011

Ft. Worth Texas based photographer Jon Holiday won the 1st Place award in "Breathtaking Landscapes" at photos2win.com. There were 45 different "VIP" entries, and "Portland Head Light No. 2." This particular image of the most famous lighthouse has a little "manual" HDR work on it to bring out the early morning warmth of the light on the rocks. And that's one of the things noted by the judges. "What a picturesque view of the lighthouse in the early morning light. This photo really captivates the tranquility and serenity by the ocean. Beautiful capture on the lighting, splendid manipulation of HDR to warm up the rocks to give the feel of warm morning light. Jon Holiday Selected For Inclusion In International Exhibition

Fort Worth, TX - June 15th, 2011

"Beauty and The Door" by photographer Jon Holiday was selected for inclusion in an inaugural international exhibit at Transylvania University. This particular photograph was taken in spring of 2010, and has received several other awards already. Submissions to the Byte Gallery are from professional composers and artists from across the globe, including the United States, China, Greece, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Colombia, and France. 27 works were selected from a pool of over 120 entries. The exhibits at the Byte Gallery give Transylvania students an exclusive front row seat at the leading edge of international digital art and music scenes.

This image is actually several separate images digitally "stitched" together, which makes for a large file that can be printed up to several feet in length. Last year, one of his Texas Bluebonnet images received this same award. This year, Jon also received 2 other BRONZE awards...one for a Bluebonnet image, and one for a city skyline. Jon Holiday Wins First Place In REFLECTIONS Themed Competition

Fort Worth, TX - April 27th, 2011

Congratulations to Jon Holiday on coming 1st in the Reflections competition from all the Pictures2Win.com team. This image is titled "Dating Story." Jon says, "When shooting in a big city, I love looking for an unusual juxtaposition of buildings and structures and the like, BUT what photographer can resist the occasional photograph that tells a story or that captures a wonderful candid moment in time?
