I was born just outside Bath into a large family with five brothers and since my childhood I have loved creativity in all its many forms. In 1985 I travelled to Venice Italy, where I studied life drawing at the Academia di belle arte and learnt the art of traditional mask making. Venice was fabulous, creative and colourful; I also studied acting and theatre and worked in a commedia dell’arte group for two years.
