I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time.

Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT'S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works and selling them. She was asked twice to create glass art for the White House Christmas tree in the Blue Room. She gave up her glass studio seven years ago to pursue a personal higher calling and artistic endeavors with less equipment necessary to create art. She always has a camera with her in order to catch the fleeting beauty of life and nature. 'Sometimes these are purely for the photo itself of the simple things in my life and sometimes they become the inspiration for a painting.' She currently teaches college art courses in the Rochester School district for Monroe Community College. These include Art essentials 101 and Drawing and Painting. She incorporates her background in glass into her teaching.

Art Prints

I now enjoy the time to create a painting just for the sake of the joy of doing it. I am also an art teacher and a forever student in the garden of life.
