Only a few years ago it would have seemed ridiculous to discuss the influence of computer graphics on art and society. Nonetheless, digital art is beginning to find acceptance, as output capabilities advance and quality increases. Internationally, many museums are now beginning to collect digital art, such as the San Jose Museum of Art in the U.S., the Victoria and Albert Museum in the U.K., and the Digital Art Museum in Germany.
