My goal is to inspire curiosity by imagining how microscopic creatures might look if we could see them in their natural habitats, and view them as amazing wildlife rather than 'specimens' in a laboratory. Many of us are unsettled by the thought of invisible microscopic life forms all around us, so I try to balance the 'ick factor' by showing that these creatures can be beautiful.
