Linda De Keuster also known as Lin Custodis works in her studio in Hemiksem near Antwerp, Belgium.
Where she initially leaned heavily on classical realism her style gradually evolved into a more romantic realism. These soft romantic touch is mainly expressed in her last works.
Linda masters a wide range of topics but is mainly specialized in painting portraits. Also still lifes are among her favorites with flowers, especially English roses, enjoy her absolute preference. In addition, animals are also multiple times captured by her brush on the canvas.
Besides working with traditional oil paint on canvas or wood panel her portraits can also be realised in acrylic, pastel or drybrush technique.
A portrait is always based on photographs taken in her own studio and, if possible, but not necessary, this can be supplemented with a number of modeling sessions.
She works also with photography and Digital art.
