For years I worked in ceramics throwing bowls, making pitchers and mugs, baskets and more. I used to carve geometric patterns into the clay and one day I felt inspired to buy colored pencil and draw these designs on paper....that's when my painting journey began.
I am self taught and love to experiment with color and different surfaces, .
From using colored pencil I moved on to pastels and now I am working with sharpies and markers.
I paint intuitively and it is my intention to bring joy and hope to people within a world that often looks depressing . I hope when you look at my art you will receive a feeling of joy and hope.
